A note about overwhelm…
These are difficult times for all of us.
With all that’s going on in the world, it doesn’t take much to end up feeling overwhelmed.
This is especially true if you experienced loss or adversity early in life.
In addition, about half of women who seek therapy are “highly sensitive"- a personality trait found in 20% of the population.
It’s not a disorder, but without awareness and careful management, it can increase your risk of chronic stress, fatigue, overwhelm, anxiety, depression and despair.

Severe mental illness
Struggling with daily functioning
Suicidal (or self-harm) within past 3 months
Active addiction within 6 months
Borderline Personality Disorder
Psychotic disorders
